1. Who we are

Carease is a Swiss car selling service operated by Carhorizon GmbH, Hauptstrasse 93, 2563 Ipsach, Switzerland. For questions about your data, contact info@carease.ch.

2. Data we collect

When you request an appointment or start a sale, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number and vehicle details, including number plate, make, model, year, mileage and condition, together with any photos and documents you send.

We also collect technical data needed to operate and secure the website, such as browser, device and IP address information.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to recommend a price, contact you about the sale, publish the listing, arrange viewings, complete the transaction and improve our service. We never sell your personal data.

4. Who receives your data

Once a buyer is confirmed, the necessary vehicle information and relevant contact details may be shared with our network of selected buyers to complete the sale. We also use trusted providers for hosting, databases and email who are bound by confidentiality obligations.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service and meet our Swiss legal obligations. You may request its deletion at any time, subject to those obligations.

6. Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where applicable, the EU GDPR, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data and object to certain uses. Email info@carease.ch and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies and advertising measurement

A draft of the form is kept in your session for two hours so you can return to it, then deleted once your request is confirmed as sent. With your consent, Google also receives advertising and conversion events to measure requests from our ads and improve their delivery.

We record your choice, its date and the version of the notice shown. You can decline without losing any functionality and change your choice at any time through “Cookies” in the footer, as well as use your browser or Google settings.

We do not currently send Google your email address, phone number or other customer matching data.

Data is hosted on secure infrastructure and encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it to support you.
